Description
Audi India is set to commence its product offensive for 2021 with the introduction of the A4 facelift. The brand has begun production of the model at its plant located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, ahead of its launch in January 2021. The outgoing version of the A4 was powered by a 1.4-litre petrol motor. This unit is expected to be replaced by a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, which is the same engine used in the Q2. This engine produces 188bhp and 320Nm of torque in the 40TFSI guise. The new Audi A4 facelift is based on the B9 generation model that was unveiled back in 2016. Changes to the exterior design include an updated single-frame grille, refreshed front and rear bumpers, new matrix LED headlamps, and reworked tail lights. Inside, the facelifted Audi A4 is expected to receive updates in the form of a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit, and an updated version of Audi’s MMI user interface. Upon launch, the model will rival the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and the Jaguar XE
